Isaiah 43:1-3a – But now, this is what the Lord says–He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel:  “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.  When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.  When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.  For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”

Psalm 142:1-3 – “I cry aloud to the Lord; I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy.  I pour out my complaint before Him; before Him I tell my trouble.  When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who know my way.”

Psalms 68:3-5 – “But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful.  Sing to God, sing praise to His name, extol Him who rides on the clouds–His name is the Lord–and rejoice before Him.  A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13 – For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

2 Chronicles 16:9 – “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth, looking to and fro, to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.”

John 10:10 – “I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.”

Acts 4:36 – “Joseph a Levite from Cyprus whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means Son of Encouragement).”

Philippians 4:8 – “Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.”
