What an amazing thing that took place here yesterday at Shadnor First Baptist Church in Union City, on Sunday September 9th<\/sup>.  How do I find the right words to describe it?  I want to say that \u201cGod showed up\u201d, but the truth of the matter is that He is always here.  But it was definitely a mighty moving of the Holy Spirit of God as more than fifty people responded during our invitation.<\/p>\n

It was far more than I ever expected or have ever experienced before in over twenty years of ministry.  And it was so much more than just people following people.  I wish that each of you could have heard the words and seen the emotion coming from those who came forward.  It was real!  God is good!  And I definitely want to make sure that I don\u2019t just talk about yesterday as something past tense.  I believe with all my heart that it is the beginning of something big!<\/p>\n

I believe that God is doing something mighty in this generation and it is so exciting to be able to witness it and be a part of it.  It may not be long before Jesus comes to take us home to be with Him forever and ever!  Won\u2019t that be great?  We must get busy sharing His unconditional love and grace with all those around us.  We wouldn\u2019t want anyone to be left behind.<\/p>\n

Attached is a print copy of yesterday\u2019s message if you would like to read it or forward it to a friend.  Is the Lord your Shepherd?  Is the Shepherd your Lord?  There\u2019s nothing in all of life to worry about if and when you understand that He is our Shepherd.  A shepherd provides, protects, guides and corrects.  But He can\u2019t be your Shepherd, unless you make Him your Lord!  Then He will meet your every need.  Is the Lord your Shepherd?  Is the Shepherd your Lord?   \u201cThe Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need!\u201d  Pastor Wendell<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need!\u201d  What a glorious seven weeks that we spent together looking intently and intimately at Psalm 23, the most precious of all the Psalms of David.  The Lord has blessed us all with much fruit and blessing through this sermon series more than any other that I have ever been a part of before.  It does my soul well to hear the stories and testimonies of God moving in behalf of His people.  He loves us all unconditionally!<\/p>\n

A few weeks ago, someone came that was hungry and we were able to give them a little something to eat.  The same day another came that was thirsty and Jesus said, \u201cI will give you living water and you will never thirst again.\u201d  One Sunday over fifty people came forward declaring Jesus as not just their Shepherd, but the Lord of their lives.  On a couple of other Sundays individuals came to re-dedicate their lives to the Lord.  Another Sunday a blind man came to worship with us.  Then a little child came forward in tears because he learned that his Shepherd could and would take away his hurt.  The Good Shepherd is alive and well, He is actively seeking to restore our spirits and guide us through life.<\/p>\n

And for all of this we give God all the glory, honor and praise that we can muster up.  \u201cHoly, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.\u201d  Psalm 34:4-6 \u2013 \u201cI sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.  Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.  This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; He saved him out of all his troubles.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t you just love Him more and more every day?  He is so good to all of us.  He is our Shepherd!<\/p>\n
